Dead Baby Rabbits

My husband found dead baby rabbit's in our yard today. If I was superstitious this would not be a good sign. How do baby rabbits get away from the nest? The two little kit were fully developed. It was erie to look upon those delicate corpses. It reminds me of the pictures the old west babies that died. Their sunken eyes above a perfectly pressed and white christening gown.
